What is the difference between a business strategist, a manager and a coach?

In short. A manager leads people and answers for the daily work; a coach works with one person. A business strategist works on the whole organization with the owners and the board: he sets the direction with them and keeps it current, without managing people in place of those who are responsible for them.

There every week, without managing

I am in the company every week, and that is why some people mistake me for a manager. The difference lies in responsibility. I lead the strategy and its upkeep, while the people are led by whoever holds that role. My job is to make sure the decisions taken with the owners reach every level.

The system, not the person

A coach works with one person on their own path. I work on the company as a system, the whole of its decisions, people, processes, culture and tools: change one of them and the others change too.

What about the accountant?

How this work differs from that of an accountant or a communications agency is explained, in plain words, in So, what do you actually do?.
